Lindsey Balbierz is an illustrator located out of the New York City area. She was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. In 2008, Lindsey graduated from Parsons School of Design with a BFA in Illustration. Her work as been featured in National Geographic Adventure, American Way magazine, Current magazine, as well as at Flatstock 12 in Austin, TX. Her first solo show, Smog and Smokestacks, was during the summer of 2007 @ Klatch coffee shop. Quoting Lindsey at the ripe age of eight, her aspiration to be an 'animal-picture-drawer' is continuing to come true. She is inspired by the peculiarities of life, trying to capture those attributes in her work. Her time is consumed drawing characters that always seem to find their way into her illustrations.
