Brandon Jackson has been a photographer in Nashville, TN for nearly thirty years. Catching the photography “bug” in High School, Brandon started shooting portraits of friends and anyone else who would sit in front of the camera for a few minutes.
While still in school Brandon started working for local camera shop. Working at a camera shop provided him access to all sorts of camera gear as well as interacting with working professional photographers.
The camera shop experience was much like college. A lot was learned, there was a lot of fun, and a lot of money was spent. Many a paycheck magically transformed into lenses, strobes, and other toys necessary equipment.
Over the years he has developed a style and philosophy that shapes the portraits and headshots he captures today. His images of people are dynamic and are a reflection of the character of the subject, not simply their form.
