My love for illustration must have started as soon as I learned to read.
As a young girl, I faithfully copied Kate Greenaway's victorian girls with their bonnets, bows and hoops. Later I was obsessed with Edward Gorey's books.
After college, armed with a BFA in Painting and Printmaking, I shifted my perspective to the world of illustration and advertising, working in several agencies as an in-house illustrator.
I somehow developed the ability to work with deadlines and left the cubicle the in the late eighties
to ride the roller coaster of freelance illustration. My seat belt has been fastened ever since.
I've worked with a wide range of clients, from corporate to editorial to children's books. My work has been recognized by Print, How, and the Educational Press Association of America. Some of my book illustrations have an international audience. Visit my site to see more.
