Infrared Film Photography
Brief Summary
2014 marked my tenth year of professional photography. Traveling Ireland in 2003, I found my hidden talent. In 2004 I embraced the long road to learning photography. Amazed by the work of Sir Simon Marsden, I contacted him not really expecting a reply from such a talented and famous photographer. He became a friend and great inspiration to me, and encouraged me to learn the difficult art of infrared film photography. Ten years later, I continue learning new ways to make my photos more interesting, but it is one basic skill I learned in Ireland that is most important - composition. The photographer's eye creates the image before it is even recorded. After developing my first roll of infrared film, I showed my photos to a photographer friend who said "you've got it... you've got the eye".

My business plan at this point is to market my work in a concentrated effort to get the best results. My work is unique and I feel worthy of exhibition and print in the most prestigious venues and periodicals. I am continuing my search for the perfect fit of fine art/commercial representation in an agent with the connections needed to market my photography where it will be most appreciated. I also plan to continue seeking out more remarkable locations to produce many more unusual and beautiful images. My first ten years have been fabulous -- watch what happens next!

I recently added a Nikon D800, new lenses and a complete lighting/backdrop system to my tool kit, enabling me to expand into offering product photography, portrait, head shots and model shoots. Contact me to book your shoot now!
