Claire Menegatti lives and works from her home studio in Los Angeles, CA. She graduated in 2010 from California State University Long Beach with her BFA in Illustration. In 2008, she received the John Lincoln Figure Drawing Award from CSULB. In 2015, her work was published in The Portland Review v.61 no. 3 (including the cover) & in The Sandy River Review v. 35.
Her greatest skills are in the traditional methods of art creating, particularly with oils, watercolors, and inks. Her work has a feminine, delicate, and organic aesthetic and leans towards whimsical, charismatic, or melancholy moods.
Claire has been exhibiting her work in Southern California since 2006. She has been freelancing as a graphic designer and illustrator since 2012.
