I am Carla Traini, Communication Designer passioned for Design Strategy/Branding, Packaging Design, Corporate & Editorial Design for luxury as well as consumer goods.

I love my job. I like how it constantly puts me in brand new challenges that I face every day with energy, curiosity and enthusiasm.

I believe in teamworking. I’m a concrete person with a high sense of duty and respect for colleagues and clients and most of all for the projects.

I like to share ideas and solutions with colleagues. I appreciate other people’s views but nonetheless I’m ready to stand up for what I think is a good idea.

I fight for what I believe in. I’m determined and ambitious. I work hard to get the goals I want, with a positive mind and trust in the future.

Fontegrafica France it’s a new branch of Fontegrafica Milan, existing since the beginning of 2011
to add amazing creativity and graphic design to the astonishing capabilities of Fontegrafica in terms of printing techniques.
I am Design Director managing the resident team of 4 creative talents in terms of art direction.
At the same time I follow every project also from a managing point of view and select new freelance who could eventually integrate the team. We work only for fashion and luxury brands.

Top clients: Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Boucheron, Interparfums.

This experience boosted my capabilities of team management, organization, problem solving, creativity, and of course, knowledge and evaluation of the faisability and choice of the best printing technique to enhance and interpret the potential of every graphic project.

Art Director for the creation of luxury and cosmetics projects moving from packaging, to edition and corporate.
CB’a Paris is the headquarter of the group, working actively in packaging, corporate, space design and branding. The Pole Luxe I integrated is one of the most creative and flexible of the agency, in switching from one field of graphic design, to the others.

Top Clients: Ferrari, Louis Vuitton, JTI tobacco, Valrhona, Yves Rocher, Bacardi-Martini.

This experience developed my competences in Branding, focusing them on the high end and luxury segment.As a foreigner, I enriched the team bringing a cultural difference that helped us approaching clients like Ferrari and Martini on the Italian market.

Design Director driving a team fo 4 persons for projects of Packaging and Corporate Identity working for B2B and B2C. Direct involvement from the very definition of brand strategy, through the creative development process,
to the implementation and printing stages: artworks production, selection of materials and treatments and suppliers management.

Main Clients:
Alemagna , Gruppo 24 Ore, TDR Tobacco (Croatia), UIB (Jeddah – Emirates), Ferrero Kinder, SCJ Johnson Wax, Dainese, Triennale di Milano, Wall Street Institute.

This experience offered me the possibility of establishing the first team of the agency voted to set the basis of each project, working in close contact with strategic planners. We won 3 pitches in Croatia and one in Saudi Arabia, switching the profile of the agency from national to international.

The Alemagna project I developed for Carmi e Ubertis is awarded Grand Prix Brand identity Prize for Corporate Design and for Packaging Design.
