I'm a researcher and design consultant and Vicki Thomas Associates  was founded in 1984 based on some research I had undertaken at the Royal College of Art and the Victoria & Albert Museum on the designer's role in the gift industry.

The Consultancy is a team of some fifty designers, illustrators and product designers and we work on a wide range of projects. We also create our own concepts and license them. We work with properties like Mabel Lucie Attwell's illustrations and the Osborne Robinson Poster Collection introducing older images to a new audience.

I also work as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Northampton teaching students on product and Illustration courses.
