About me - The Artist
I was born in a small Northern German village called Kiel-Suchsdorf near the border of Denmark. 
Since I was a kid I dreamt of becoming a Ballerina like my Mom.
But there was a change of plan after I graduated from school and I decided head over heels to move to New York to become a make up artist instead.

Lucky me I met the iconic make up artist Linda Mason and assisted her for two years. For me she is a real pioneer and technical experimental artist. Through her I learnt how to use eyeshadow powder as lipstick and lipstick colours as eyeshadows or blusher. 
 
After two years building my own career besides assisting I decided to move to Paris and hit the European maket. Paris welcomed me with open arms and I really enjoyed my extraordinary makeup chances. My career went up in a flash and lead me to work with designers, for advertising campaigns and with celebrities. I joined the team of Pat Mc Grath for the fashion shows and shootings.

After 10 years of living and working in Paris I packed my suitcases again and moved to London because of it's creative spirit.
In the meantime I published two successfull and award winning beauty and art coffeetable books and now I enjoy all the new exciting challenges.

On of the things I am happy about is that I am travelling even more, working on creative photoshoots, speaking on events about social media, my business and beauty, teaching make up masterclasses and creating artistry.
