I am a professional photographer with almost four decades of experience and am a Certified “Craftsman of Photography” with the Master Photographers Organization International.

After doing my first paid photo shoot at the age of 16, I knew I would be a professional photographer. Following high school, I studied journalism at Mount Royal College (now MRU) with an emphasis on photojournalism and then went on to work as a reporter/editor/photographer for several years.

In the early 1990s I recognised the value of computers in photography and graphics and upgraded my skills with intensive digital graphics training. While working as a graphic designer and photographer I created successful campaigns for local, national and international clients. My background in journalism and graphic design provides me with the knowledge needed for determining appropriate content and composing photographs for specific uses. I keep current with graphics and photo editing applications and apply my expert knowledge to digital imaging and retouching
