Brief Summary
Alicia J. Rose

Having established a successful career in the music business cutting her teeth in distribution, A&R, management, marketing and promotion, Alicia’s close friendships with artists and musicians inspired her to turn to photography and filmmaking. Her passion for conceptual personality driven portraiture and creative authentic branding helped build the careers of such successful NW musicians as The Decemberists, Menomena, Viva Voce, and many others. Her photography has been featured in Rolling Stone, XLR8R, V, Elle, Spin, Filter, Fader, the NY Times, Wall Street Journal and Sunset. Alicia’s controversial “Beast” photo of woman and deceased pig was honored with a 2008 PDN Photo Annual Award and a multiple page spread in Elle Magazine.

Overcome with the desire to make her images move, she has been creating clever and visually arresting music videos for Menomena, AgesandAges, Holcombe Waller, The Builders And The Butchers, Viva Voce, Loch Lomond, Golden Bloom and others. With a talent for tapping into the heart of every project, Rose imbues her work with palpable humor, distinct personality and a uniquely rich eye for composing gorgeous imagery.
