Brief Summary
Art director, graphic designer, photographer, photo editor, creative manager, problem solver, team player, and all around hard worker--these are all roles I have played over the past eight years in my ever developing creative career. Always pursuing excellence, I am now searching for the next great creative challenge in my field. I balance my career with my passion for the outdoors. I enjoy photography, rock climbing, mountain bike racing, and backcountry skiing. I live in Boulder, Colorado with my dog, Rilke (yes, named after the poet).

Art Director / Climbing and Urban Climber Magazines / March 2010 to November 2011
• Duties included: overseeing all aspects of magazine design and production, art directing one complete magazine re-design, producing all
magazine design and production, handling all photo editing and image solicitation, digital workflow, and prepress, managing tight deadlines for
19 issues a year.
* Managed a successful year-round intern program for college students interested in design and photography

Creative Manager / Kelty and Sierra Designs / May 2009 to February 2010
• Duties included: creative resource management, print design, photography, photo editing, outsourcing contractors, and art directing photo
shoots. I worked closely with the marketing manager to support the marketing department’s goals and needs.
• Projects included: art directing photo shoots, managing contract designers, designing in-house and consumer catalogs, marketing materials,
logo design, and sales collateral.

Media Manager / The Access Fund / 2005 to January 2009
• Duties included: developing new graphic standards, applying branding to all print and web communication and designing from concept to
print all advertising, promotional media, annual reports, membership materials, and logos.
• Oversaw all aspects of design and visual communication for the organization. Designed the bi-monthly member magazine, soliciting artists
and photographers, photo editing and production.
• Sourced all printing needs.

Graphic Designer / La Sportiva North America / 2004 to 2005
• Duties included: print design, typography, and photo editing. Creating print advertising, sales collateral, workbooks, and catalogs.
