I am a creative, passionate animator with a good eye for design. I am dedicated and reliable, can offer a range of skills and will approach any project with flexibility and enthusiasm. I have experience in broadcast, videos for web, film and music videos, through commercial and personal projects.

2006-2009 BA (Hons) Animation from the University For The Creative Arts, Farnham.
2005-2006 BTEC Foundation Diploma in Art and Design, University For The Creative Arts, Rochester
1998-2005 A-levels: Obtained the following grades from Fort Pitt Grammar
School, Rochester - A in Graphic Design, B in Fine Art and B in
Media Studies.
Skills
My specialism lies in traditional 2D character animation, but I also have experience in motion graphics, pixilation, live action and design. I also have skills in script writing, storyboarding, producing and Illustration. In my spare time, I work as a VJ, using a mixture of original and found material. This has given me additional experience in motion graphics and editing, and greatly enhanced my practical technical knowledge.
My software skills include: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, Apple Final Cut Pro, Adobe Encore and DVD Studio Pro. I also have a good knowledge of Adobe Flash, Illustrator and Dreamweaver.
Previous employment
April 2010 - Present: Freelance: I have worked with a wide variety of clients and media, often undertaking whole projects, from pre-production to delivery. I have had good experience in liaising with clients and forming positive relationships is a top priority. I aim to take on each project with a fresh eye and apply different ideas to each brief.
Jun 2009 - Apr 2010: Producer at Sweetworld TV ltd. Key responsibilities
included:
Artworking; Creating schedules and budgets; writing press
releases and creating html email newsletters; Promotional
and marketing work such as creating showreel DVDs,
distributing, entering festivals; Managing company website
and social networking; Liaising with clients and contacts; Assisting on shoots; animating and designing.
Jan - Mar 2010: Marketing Intern at Animate Projects: I fulfilled a 3 Month
Marketing Internship at Animate Projects, a division of Arts
Council England. My responsibilities here were mainly posting
to their editorial blog (APEngine, www.apengine.org) I also
contributed content, edited features and conducting my own
interviews with film-makers for this blog. More general tasks
included creating database archives, managing social
networking and collecting data on the sites online presence.
