Professional Experience
Alexei Vella specializes in creating images that are striking and complex, sensual yet undeniably intellectually involving. In order to achieve this unique look, Vella employs a complex colour palette, an eclectic application of graphics and texture, and a sophisticated use of antiquated surfaces.

He received a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Interpretive Illustration from Sheridan College, where he was a recipient of multiple awards and scholarships. After graduation he went on to pursue a freelance career in illustration and design where he became noticed and won many professional awards for his signature style. This recognition gave him the opportunity to exhibit in many shows internationally.

In the Spring of 2011 Alexei completed his MFA at OCAD University’s Interdisciplinary Master’s in Art, Media & Design program.
