ATAMAN is a clothing brand created by Ksenia Oganesyan — talented designer from Moscow. The task was to create a name, logo and branding concept. Driven by rough materials and firm shapes of the collection we portreyed potential customers of the brand as a "girlfriend of a viking". Client's name proposal was ATAMAN (leader, general) which we thought was great. As a base for graphic style we chose nordic runes, made up 3 new ones which depicted hut -roots, fire-energy, knot - firmness, main characteristics of a good leader (ataman) and then united them in one to become a logo for ATMAN brand
