My name is Peter Scott and I’m a graphic designer currently based in Glasgow, Scotland. I graduated from Cumbria Institute of the Arts with a BA (Hons) Degree in Graphic Design in 2002. After graduating I exhibited work at the Emerging Young Artists exhibition in 2003 which led to me working freelance for the design studio Fluid in Birmingham.
Following a move to Glasgow I worked for Graven Images and Wark/Clements before settling at the multi-disciplinary studio Art is an Option. I’ve worked for a variety of clients in various sectors including BP, NHS, Browns Food Group, Helius Energy, Diageo and Stirling Council. I enjoy all aspects of my work and especially the challenge I face every day, to push boundaries whenever possible and to create original and effective ideas. Recent work includes user interface design (UI) for iOS and Android App and also illustrations, character design/animation, icons and UI for an iOS game published on iTunes (for iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad).
Away from work I enjoy going along to design talks and socialising with other designers, reading design blogs/magazines or working on self-initiated illustrative and design projects.
I'm also a keen illustrator and exhibited work at Emerging Young Artists 2003 exhibition in Birminghman and I've also had work shown on the Computer Arts website.
