I studied graphic design at the university and worked in advertising as an art director in multinational companies for 14 years. Therefore, I see things more from the vantage point of an art director rather than of a conventional photographer. I'd rather have styles that fit to individual moods and needs of the assignments. What I aim at is not taking pictures, but creating images that communicate.
I am also an academic with a PhD in visual semiotics. I have taught in several college and universities design, advertising, and photography related courses.
Originally from Toronto, Canada, I am a Berlin-based portrait, fashion, and commercial photographer. I have work published in printed and online media in Canada, US, and Europe.
