After completing a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Graphic Design at the Norwich School of Art, British illustrator Michelle Thompson continued her studies in London, graduating with a Master of Arts Degree from the Royal College of Art in 1996. She has since worked on projects encompassing advertising, publishing and design. Work has included commissions from some of the worlds top designers, notably a billboard campaign for Italian clothes label Aspesi with graphic designer Vaughan Oliver at v23, and more recently Cherie Blair's book cover as well as regular illustrations for the Guardian Newspaper. She uses collage elements, photos and digital processes to create her work, inspired by surface and colour. Michelle's work has been shown in Creative Review, Communication Arts, Eye, Graphics International and Computer Arts magazines. As well as being featured in numerous books on Illustration and Design. She's currently exhibiting in Design Week's '20 years on' show in London.
