For Marie-Andée Bureau, her jon as an illustrator was a logical step from her university education in design and her experience in manufacturing, where she matched colors and fabrics. Her talent was immediately recognized when she entered the Lux contest in 2002 and walked of with a first prize and her work was included in the Communication Arts Illustration annual 43. Her first pieces where first published monthly in a fashion magazine in Mexico, her clientele has since expanded to the United-States as well as Canada.
