Linda Montgomery, French born is a respected Canadian artist, illustrator, and educator
whose award-winning pastel drawings and paintings have been admired and collected in numerous major corporate and private collections worldwide. Linda’s images, have been exhibited and published internationally in over 30 magazines, such as Good Housekeeping, New York Times, Homemakers, Chicago Tribune, Harrowsmith. Also her client list includes illustrating stories for over 20 book publishers, such as Hay House, MacMillian, Golden Books/St.Martins Press, Doubleday, Random House, Workman Publishing. Linda also has serviced over 40 corporations, such as the artwork for the Aga Khan Foundation posters for 10 years for their annual Partnership walk. Linda and her artwork are featured on the foundations video “ A Global Journey” and all the original artworks are in the permanent collection of the Aga Khan Foundation in Ottawa. Her major collections & clients include, Liptons/Unilever, Onex Corporation, Aveda/Collega Corp, Milk Marketing Board, Psizer Pharmaceuticals & Kraft.
Linda’s designs, have also been translated into dishware for Costco, USA, textile design
for Hamill Textiles and rug designs for Multi & Elte Carpets.
In addition, Linda has served as a juror for Studio Magazine and the Canadian Association of Photographers and Illustrators in Communication (CAPIC). Through CAPIC she volunteered with Programing, Business Practises, and was VP of the Toronto Chapter on the Board of Directors.
Linda has supported numerous humanitarian and philanthropic causes, through charitable contributions, her artwork has been selected for many foundations and organizations, notably, The Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Bread & Roses Cultural Projects for Social Justice, Humewood House, Children’s Wish Foundation, Earth Day Canada, World Literacy, Canada Trust Community Partnerships, Farm Sanctuary & Bailey House for Aids in New York.
