João Oliveira is a 21 year-old graphic designer and illustrator from Porto, Portugal.
He's currently taking a degree in Communication Design at ESAD (Escola Superior de Artes e Design) in Matosinhos and working freelance as a graphic designer, illustrator and web designer.
João continuously expands his skills and experience by experimenting all kinds of techniques and mediums, ranging from the digital to the traditional ones.
In late 2007 he won the HP/MTV TAMA contest and will have his own special artist edition of laptops being sold all over the world. Since them he travelled to various cities such as Munich, Tokyo, Kyoto, Las Vegas, New York and Berlin as prizes/invitations/press related to the contest.
Been featured in various sites and magazines and done interviews for various sites and a portuguese major radio station - TSF.
He's also a permanent contributor and member on Evokeone.com, a collective of illustrators, designers, musicians and photographers from all the world.
