J. Michael Stovall is an illustrator, animator and graphic designer based in Texas. Initially working in marketing and public relations for nearly fifteen years at the firm he cofounded, he sold his partnership to focus primarily on animation and illustration. Several recent highlights include working as Creative Director of the DVD Division of ADV Films, as an animator on Richard Linklater's film "A Scanner Darkly", and at Radiant Creative Group as an interactive and animation firm. During this time he also has conducted his freelance career under the moniker Stovepipe Art+Design.
