I have always loved being creative. Design, colour, texture and all the other components of art combine in intriguing ways to enhance our experience on this planet. When I am in my zone of creating art I am at my happiest. Hopefully, sharing it with others will bring them some joy.

I am self taught and have been painting for my own enjoyment for years. I did sell the odd artwork but my lack of confidence and formal training have held me back from following my dream of making a living from what I love to do.

Life experience has a remarkable way of changing one's views. I have become fearless. I might not have acquired my skills in the traditional way (I'm not the only one) but what my art looks like is unique. How I present myself to the market, my art persona, is whatever I want it to be.

I've learned that there are no rules governing who is or who is not an artist, how or where to sell art, or how much your art is worth. If you're good, people like your art and you're selling...the adventure has begun.
