Brief Summary
I have been working as an illustrator for over ten years, illustrating magazines, newspapers, greeting cards, advertising, and more than 25 books. I have served as the Vice President of the San Francisco Society of Illustrators and teach online at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. I was born in Muncie, Indiana and after enjoying life in Boston, Kansas City, New York City, and San Francisco, I am happy to be residing in Asheville, NC. The books I have illustrated for American Girl have been winners of the 2008 Children's Choice Award, International Reading Association and Children's Book Council, Winner of the 2007 Excellence in Financial Literacy Award (EIFLE), Institute for Financial Literacy.
