Brief Summary
Tim Foley was born in Flint Michigan in 1962, spent most of his school years in nearby Durand, then attended college at the Kendall School of Art in Grand Rapids. During most of the 80s, he worked as a typesetter/art director for a family owned printing franchise, and set out on his own as a freelance illustrator in 1989. His work has appeared in many national and international publications, book covers, cd covers, as well as various toys and games over the past twenty plus years. Aside from drawing pictures, he is also a musician and songwriter, currently playing upright bass for the group 'The Jukejoint Handmedowns' and sails on Lake Michigan in the summer months. He currently lives and works in Grand Rapids with his wife, Terri, and has a son, Keenan, who is a jazz musician in Chicago.
