Brief Summary
I was born in Paris in 1993. I moved to Beirut in 1995, my family's hometown (which they escaped in the 1970's due to the civil war). I went to a French school, so I can fluently speak English, Arabic and French.
My father is an architect, and so at a very early age he introduced me to the field: he would always give me short impromptu history lessons, which helped me develop an "architectural curiosity". My mother on the other hand is in another creative field: theatre. As a matter of fact, she is one of the renwoned and respected director in the Middle East. She has performed in Lebanon, Syria, Egypt, Jordan, Qatar (where she won a price for "Best Arab Play in January 2013) but also in New York. This background has been in my sister and I's advantage: she is now a graphic design student, preparing her packaging mater at PRATT Institute in NYC.

I am studying Interior Architecture at the Lebanese American University in Beirut. It wasn't my first choice since I would have loved to go back to Paris and study there, but, as the Stones said, "You can't always get what you want". So I'm trying to make the best out of a situation. This major helps me understand a space and better visualize 3D elements. It's a good basis in my opinion for my future studies in Industrial Design.

My ideal job would be as a designer of Playmobil, a toy I grew up playing with. It's amazing how such simplicity and minimalism helped me develop my imagination
