Mokkō is an interior design studio based in Amsterdam, founded in 2017 by Aad Bos. For businesses and private clients we design and create complete interiors as well as single interior products, including acoustic art panels and custom furniture.
We strive for a warm and timeless minimalism that inspires, by striking a balance between understated simplicity and surprising contemporary elements that excite. We love using tactile materials, showing the beauty of natural imperfection.
Japanese design and architecture are great sources of inspiration. As well as modernist and brutalist architecture.
We believe great design leaves room for the mind to be involved and question things. Design should inspire rather than impress.
