Megan grew up in rural Northwest New Jersey. She lived on a dirt road in the woods, surrounded by farms. As a child she spent her time outdoors climbing trees and playing in streams. If she was indoors, she was doing gymnastics. Her early experiences have attributed to the sense of Americana in her work.

Megan discovered her love of photography in high school, and in the nineties she went to School of Visual Arts where she got a BFA in 1997. She has been shooting since then.

She currently lives in Jersey City in an historic house that she and her husband renovated themselves. She is a mom to a beautiful baby girl, and a devoted pitt bull.

Megan loves bike riding, gardening, renovation projects, and drinking a glass of wine with friends. She has her motorcylce license but has never owned a motorcylce. Most of all Megan loves to take photographs.
