Brief Summary

I work in painting, sculpture and photography. Very often my work can be viewed as installation or even bricolage in that I uses the separate genres in tandem, mediating their differences in the service of a specific social viewpoint.

One may see a basically “Pop” sensibility influenced by Warhol, Wesselman, or Rusha and a California/ LA vernacular.

My fierce and difficult vision makes each work a battleground for control of the psychological through the reified language of aggression and power. One is not only presented with the frustration experienced by the individual awash in the collective culture, but also with a sly and sweet appreciation of my artistic position.
