Mumtaz Jafri was born in 1970 in Goes (the Netherlands). Studied at the Academy for Performing Arts in Amsterdam. Graduated with honours in 1995 and toured the Netherlands for 3 years with his one-man show. In November 1998 he moved to South Wales and ran a smallholding where he bred rare breed poultry, Golden Guernsey goats, dogs, sheep and horses.
In 2005 he returned to Amsterdam to record a CD and shortly after that moved to New York to attend a private computer course where he learned to work with cinema 4D. Throughout his life Mumtaz has always drawn and created images and objects, whether it be on paper or on a computer.
These days Jafri lives in Cardiff (south Wales UK) and works as a free lance Graphic designer/Illustrator/Artist.
