Brief Summary
Joseph Earl was born in Tuscaloosa Alabama in 1953. After High School. He worked for two years in Montreal at the advertising firm of Goodger, Valleau & Associates, returning to the south in 1972 to attend the Memphis Academy of Arts (now Memphis College of Art), from where he obtained his BFA in Painting. In 1982 he moved to South Florida, and started a small graphic design/sign painting firm, Kangaroo Graphics, and continued until the early 2000s. In the late 80s, KG morphed into the premier offshore powerboat graphic design and painting company, and his work became well known nationally.
