Frank Herholdt was born in South Africa, but has lived most of his adult life in London. Frank's flirtation with classical art, combined with his admiration for wonderfully irreverent images of contemporary culture, produced his unique approach, unhampered by an orthodox photographic education. He has won many international awards, including One of Archive's Top Advertising Photographers of the World. Frank has an ability to photograph almost any subject with an original point of view.

Frank has worked for most of the main Adverting Agencies and blue chip clients all over the world. They include VISA, Snickers, Wella, Glaxo Smith Kline, Kraft and many more.

Frank has won numerous international awards. They include New York Art Directors Club and many AOP Awards, including Silver. Also Cannes, several Communication Arts, London Photographic Awards and B&W Spider Awards.
