Brief Summary

My paintings feature colorful landscapes, farms, barns, animals, and old farmhouses. I take the wide open spaces of ranches and farms and bright blue skies and interpret them in my own way with a fun, colorful, and unique twist, my interpretation of a modern Americana.

I love painting in oils for their feel and texture. I use a palette knife to create a thick layer of paint and flat blocks of color. Then I use smaller brushes for details. My background in printmaking has affected my style, in the way that I layer color and create each composition.
