Brief Summary
Deanna Ng is an independent photographer and educator.
In 2006, Deanna was selected as an International Participant for the famous Missouri Photo Workshop. Deanna is a mentor for the National Arts Council's Noise Apprenticeship programme and was a judge for the Noise Photo Competition in 2009 and 2010. She was also one of the short-listed artists for the prestigious Icon de Martell Cordon Bleu Photographer of the Year Award in 2010. Her work includes Life Before Death, a commission by the Lien Foundation which resulted in a solo exhibition at the Month of Photography (Asia) 2009.
She has also worked with German Development Agency, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Technische Zusammenarbeit (GTZ), to document 20 Women in Micro-financing in Indonesia. Her pictures have been published in a book, titled Leaders, Lenders & Breadearners.</P>
Photography has also been a way for her to look into other’s lives and through their lives, she hopes to understand a little more about life.
She is based in Singapore and available for assignments in the region.
