Brief Summary
John F. Cooper is a New York-based photographer whose work has appeared in Allure, Elle, GQ, Hombre, Lucire, Photo District News, Rolling Stone and Vogue, as well as the anthologies Nude York and Sensual Images. Cooper's images can be found in the Polaroid Anthology, Emerging Bodies: Nudes from the Polaroid Collection, alongside the work of photographers such as Helmut Newton and Edward Weston.

Cooper's clients have included BMW, De Beers, Johnson & Johnson, Lilly Pulitzer, Merck, North Beach Leather, Polaroid, and Stockingirl, Vassarette and West Coast Leather as well as numerous fashion designers. Additionally, Cooper has produced over 80 music covers for labels including: Blue Note, Deutsche Grammophon, LaFace, Sony, RCA, and Windham Hill.
Awards and Recognition
Cooper is a BFA graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology and has received numerous fellowships and awards including the New Jersey State Council on the Arts Fellowship. His work has been featured in Communications Arts Photography Annuals five times as well as on the websites Nerve.com and Mooncruise.com.
