Advertising Manager, (temporary), Softmed Systems
April 2006 - December 2006 (9 months)
Assumed freelance assignment as advertising manager (temporary) operating a
department responsible for two in-house designers and interfacing with a corporate
medical software team. Worked with those designers to coordinate workflow and
assist them in the direction of efficient completion of work, as well as creative and
functional advice and direction.

Freelance Designer , (temporary), EURO RSCG
July 2005 (3 weeks)
Freelance on-site assignment working with EURO RSCG, in their downtown Baltimore office. I was assigned to help develop and produce and prepare for press direct-mail concepts for a credit card client during the absence of staff.

Graphic Designer, (temporary), RTC Relationship Marketing
January 2004 - March 2004 (2 months)
Graphic Designer, working within the production department of the Georgetown, Washington, DC, advertising agency, I was tasked with the responsibility of taking brochure design concept files editing them for corrections based on direction, preflighting them, and preparing them for press, by locating and updating high resolution artwork and color-correcting files, as needed.

January 2000 - September 2003 (2 years, 9 months)
Lead graphic designer and art director, working as the lead designer for a Baltimore-based PR firm. In this capacity, I represented the firm working with a number of general market ad agencies and working on a number of large projects: Fall 2000 through Summer 2001 -- TFCG developed and produced billboard concepts for BWI in a joint project with Eisner Ad Agency. That was followed up with concepts for the launch of Ghana Airways’ at BWI.

March 2003 through July 2003 -- Represented TFCG in a working partnership with GKV, working with the Department of Mental Health and Hygiene as they managed an ad campaign pitched and secured in a competitive bid process. (Smoking Stops Here Campaign).

Graphic Designer, working in a number of temporary assignments on behalf of placement firms. Projects included a stint filling in for the one-person art department at a small agency in Baltimore, (Hanlon Dorsey), working within the production department at another ad firm (Brann Blau) and a design firm (Northlight Communications) in Beltsville.
