I am a content creator, writer, editor, photographer, wife, mother and all-around motivated person. I love discovering, learning, creating and growing. Writing is what I enjoy most, and with a BA in Journalism, what I set out to do. I come from a family where journalism is in the blood - my grandfather was a journalist in Dallas during the presidency of JFK. The field of journalism has changed quite a bit since that time; in some areas for the better, and in others, for the worse. I love that classic image of a reporter - the gumshoe searching for the next big break on the streets, and not sitting on his bum scrolling through Kim Kardashian's Twitter account. I think I'm a good balance between the old and the new generation of journalists and writers. I enjoy the adventure and social interaction of investigating and interviewing, but I also know how to use the internet and it's resources to my advantage. I have done content creation as a marketing assistant, I've written for a small paper, I've blogged and I've photographed. I'm open to any work regarding those areas of my expertise.
