Brief Summary
Every chance I get I love to travel and explore this amazing world we live in. Through travel, photography, learning new languages, etc., it becomes apparent how much we all have in common no matter who we are or where we live. I love to present the world as I see it whether it's a landscape, architecture or a moment frozen in time. The coolest thing is when someone connects with an image which I've captured - it can be a great conversation starter or just a really awesome opportunity to connect with another human being regardless of whether it's just for an instant or for a lifetime.
I usually shoot on black & white film and print my own images in the traditional darkroom but I've recently added some digital photography to my portfolio. Each method has its own advantages and is enjoyable in its own unique way.

I've exhibited my work in some local Los Angeles photography shows and by virtue of that exposure as well as various internet/social media resources have sold my world to collectors across North America, South America and Europe.
Professional Experience
I'm new to photography having taken my first photography class in 2007 at a local art college in the Los Angeles area. I started out shooting on black & white film (35mm) and also learned how to print my own images in the traditional chemical darkroom. Aside from 35mm I also do shoot on medium format black and white film.
Although I've sold my work, I don't consider myself a fully professional photographer. When I'm not traveling or shooting, my day job is as Founder and President of a privately held small business (Empowered Bookkeeping LLC) which leverages my skillset in accounting and finance to help clients (mainly women and women entrepreneurs) learn about and become proficient in finances. financial literacy, and all things financial and/or business-related.
