Anubhav was born in 1975 in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. His interest in Photography was initiated early in school when he held his father’s Minolta SRT 101 SLR camera. Photography was an integral part through the school and college years and soon after graduating with Honors in Economics from Delhi University, Anubhav apprenticed with a leading commercial and advertising photographer in New Delhi.

Actively working with a variety of clients since 1997, Anubhav has specialized in social documentary photography, portraiture, food and landscape photography. Over the past several years, Anubhav has focused on developing a social documentation process which he utilizes to extensively work with national and international development organizations.

Anubhav’s photographs have been published in various magazines, brochures and books as well as in advertising related media. His fine art prints are in many private collections.

An alumnus of the International Center of Photography in New York, Anubhav is working on two book projects. Heading a design and photo agency that he co-founded in 2008, Anubhav currently is based in New Delhi and travels extensively on assignments.
