Brief Summary
Andreas Rasmusson is a photographer located in Malmö, Sweden.  He had an employment as a photographer at IKEA for ten years and has been a freelancer for over 15 years.

Previous works by Andreas rasmusson is Rauschenberg's series electric cabinets which, among other things, was published in the art book, This is the place and also took part in representing the new Swedish art at the Swedish Embassy Buenos Siares. With images from the series Junk art he received the Hasselblad's appointment which, among others, Anton Corbinj sat on the jury. The pictures were about the wasted thing we usually call junk that in this serie were lifted up to kind of exclusive items.

With Ice Lands frigid world interest awakened of the ipa (international photography award) and Andreas rasmusson is now back with his distinctive photographic serie Distortion. What it boils down to is not entirely easy to put your finger on. It is an inner mental state that is visible or is it about hubris, to take himself too seriously, or is it rather a kind of contemporary commentary on the State of things? Distortion twists and distorts.
