I’m working as a freelance illustrator for over ten years now. My artwork is used in all forms of communication: editorial, corporate, advertising, institutional and (children’s) book. I translate complex ideas and abstract themes into clear and powerful images. The resulting images may seem simple at first sight, but usually contain multiple layers. I obtained a Bachelor of Art at Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam (The Netherlands), and in addition followed courses at Camberwell College of Art in London (UK) and the Art Institute in Boston (USA).

Nowadays I work in the city of Rotterdam were I also live with my wife and two daughters.
