Tarynn has been working as a designer since 1999. Following art school, she began her career in Vancouver BC, where she worked for a several design firms before joining a New York City film company, Corra Films, which produced and created both award-winning documentaries and TV advertising.
Tarynn took a three-year sabbatical from daily design work after 9/11, and pursued her other passion, yoga study & holistic nutrition and medicine. She lived and worked as a yoga teacher in Hong Kong at Pure Yoga, at SURYA Yoga in Paris, and at Y+ Studio in Shanghai.
Tarynn returned to Vancouver where she recommenced her design career, with new and inspiring insight. Her interest in human behavior and response through yoga & psychology are the grounding for how she approaches graphic design as a communication medium in support of her clients’ brand and message.
Tarynn returned to her native-Okanagan in 2007 to continue her career in graphic design. She now numbers some of the largest firms in the valley as her clients, and has been extensively involved in real estate and culinary web and print design. Tarynn splits her time between Vancouver and the Okanagan. She has recently launched
www.brand-haus.com, a real estate branding and marketing company that offers packages and a la carte services to everyone from homeowner, realtor, developer, broker to agency.
In just the past five years, the deepening of the arts, wine and culinary cultures in the Okanagan has been extraordinary. Tarynn and partner Jamie maw started Go Go Magazine in the spring of 2010. The publication is a natural adjunct to fill the information gap in the Okanagan through timely and accurate arts, entertainment and lifestyle reporting.
