Sarah Wedge is a freelance illustrator and designer with a BFA in Fine Art from Maryland Institute College of Art. She currently lives and works in Brooklyn, NY.
As a young girl Sarah dreamed of creating storybooks. Always engrossed in the pictures, she wondered what it took to make the story come alive. She rejoiced upon hearing news of her public, artistic debut as the winner of her Village Library’s bookmark-illustrating contest. Her beautiful bookmark was comprised of a girl with her imagination unfurling into a thought bubble as she read a book. This event marked the genesis of Sarah’s career as an artist.
