I studied Textile Art and Design at the National University of Arts, Bucharest, Romania. I am
a participant in the West meets East – A Cultural Book Exchange project, which resulted in
several exhibitions in Warwick, USA (2010) and Romania (2010 to 2012), and in the An
Inventory of Al-Mutanabbi Street project (www.al-mutanabbistreetstartshere-boston.com). I
participated with the art installation “The weaver” at the exhibition at the Romanian Academy
Library, in Bucharest, Romania, in July 2010, and with the art installation “Ties that bind us”
at the National Exhibition of Decorative Arts at Cotroceni, in 2012, and at the National
Museum of Art from Moldova, Chisinau, Republica Moldova, in 2013.
In 2013, I started working on a project called “In search of the perfect home”, which resulted
in several works, of which I participated with “Unfinished” at t he VIII International
Biennial of Textile Miniatures “Thoughts – that is...” at Galeria Arka, Vilnius ,
Lithuania, in 2013, and with „Three friends” at the International Textile Art
Biennal, in Haacht, Belgia, in 2015.
