I believe you need to be a little bit obsessed with the things you love. I love photographing people and the things that make them so.
I've been making photos since I was 13 years old. I shot my friends riding BMX bikes(my grandfather used to say we were "out raising hell") and after several years I started getting a handle on my camera, some of my friends became professional BMX riders and magazines started publishing my work. Over the years photographing people on bikes turned into photographing motion turned into just shooting people doing what they love. Today I love working with editorial and commercial clients on engaging projects that we're both passionate about telling their stories through still photography and video.
I spend my days photographing and engaging with people I meet on the streets of Philadelphia and trying, but always failing, to tire out our two hyperactive dogs.
