Brief Summary
I'm a self-taught artist. I started painting, drawing and "crafting" early in life, but my older sister had all ready earned a masters of fine art, and, besides, my supposed destiny was to be more intellectual to make my parents proud. In 1999, I suffered what people call catastrophic illness, and when I awoke from a coma, I couldn't move. Every muscle in my body was atrophied and I had suffered nerve damage. During my recovery, husband gave me a wacom tablet and I was off and running. In my previous life I had been a receptionist, software tester/QA manager, client services representative. Then I had taken a break before starting at BankBoston as a treasury systems analyst. By this time in my life, I had had enough of east coast winters and found myself moving to san diego. The rest is still to come.
Clients
I've worked only with private clients producing personal paintings based on the clients' input throughout the process. I would be happy to provide references upon request. I also create calendars every year through lulu.com, and I have written a book of illustrated verses available on blurb.com.
Professional Experience
In the art field, I've worked only for myself, though some of my works have been purchased by random individuals for promotional materials. I've also worked with several clients, and with their input, we create the painting I hope they imagined, but better.
Awards and Recognition
2012 Winner of design contest for the movie Crooked Arrows, about native americans and the game of lacrosse.

2005 Received an honorable mention in a Disabled Artists' show in San Diego.
