PromaxBDA Ad Image Created for DirecTV
DirecTV's 2012 PromaxBDA ad.
This would eventually grow into a piece comprising over 60 individual silhouettes, each requiring complete cosmetic retouching, hair, color correction and lighting. The shots were selected from literally thousands from 2 shoots in New York and Los Angeles.
As the projet grew in scope, the challenge was initially organizational as the depth of the Photoshop file grew with each new individual added to the composition. Every figure had it's own full-size hi-res retouching file, followed by a scaled and simplified version that would be imported into the composed PSD.
Beth Loudenberg at DirecTV was the Art Director for this project, and our collaboration was the most fun I've had creating a piece of advertising in recent years.
