Valéry Goulet is a French Canadian designer, design instructor and illustrator whose passion is to make the human response to products more meaningful through colours, materials, finishes and patterns. She currently leads the FREE creative team as well as teaching at Grant MacEwan University in the Design Studies Program. Always valuing other people's knowledge and experience, Valéry went to school on numerous occasions got to learn from amazing people such as Ruedi Baur, Ian Anderson, Stefan Sagmeister and Milton Glaser.
Over the past few years, she also had the amazing opportunity to work on a lot of exciting projects on both corporate and personal levels through the company she founded, Valerydesignwrks. Her work has been exhibited in different galleries. She also participated in special projects such as longboards, clothing, ceramic and wall application designs. These projects lead to a wealth of fun commissioned projects that also rewarded her with numerous awards, something that she definitely takes a lot of pride in.
