Brief Summary
On graduating from Harrow College of Art with a B.A. Hons Degree, I have worked as a freelance illustrator and artist for the past 25 years, in both London and Los Angeles.
My work, whilst unique in style, spans in diversity of clients and sectors, incorporating books, advertising, design, editorial, press, greetings cards, posters, stationery and corporate. I have produced several fully illustrated books, as well as numerous book jackets, with clients ranging internationally from Chronicle Books and Harper Collins, to Oxford University Press and Penguin Books. I have also worked on many editorial and press publications including The Sunday Times, The Independent, Mail on Sunday and Condé Nast publications House & Garden, Elle and Traveller.
Favourite advertising projects have included a large national re-launch campaign for Yankee Candle, USA, a fun interactive tourism promotion for the Yadkin Valley Wine region in North Carolina, and a national Holiday campaign for The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, USA. I have also worked on several corporate projects, including annual reports for Xstrata, one of the world’s largest mining companies.
My work is all done by hand, not digitally, which I then scan at a high resolution and deliver as a digital file. I also accept private commissions for original artwork, my main medium being oil on canvas.
