Born 1976 in Geelong, Luke Hallam grew up and resides on the rugged Surf Coast of Victoria, Australia. Since graduating from Deakin University with a Bachelor in Visual Arts in 1996.

My work is a reaction or reflection of the environment around me, an investigation of themes that effect my daily life, topics I feel I should take a closer look at. I’m interested in how people see and relate to the world around them and how that shapes their opinion. Whether its surf culture, heavy industrialization or the wild southern ocean.
