Research assistant: PETLab is a MacArthur funded research initiative that develops games, simulations, and play experiences which encourage experimental learning. The research is primarily focused on the development of digital learning tools and games that explore social issues and the integration of emerging technology. My specific research has been primarily focused on urban games, mobile technology, and and situated learning.

Art director: Eric Mower is a marketing communications agency with multiple offices on the east coast. My responsibilities ranged from concept and design of print, tv, and radio ads to branding. I often partnered with a copywriter on projects that required extensive writing and concepting. I had direct contact with clients and presented work regularly both internally and externally.

Graphic Designer: Jack Rouse specializes in the design of theme parks, indoor entertainment centers, water-parks, and museums. I worked on a team that focused primarily on museum graphics, signage, and wayfinding. My responsibilities included exhibit design and sign production.

June 2003-December 2003. Full time.
Designer: Salomon is located in the French Alps, near Geneva, and is one of the world leaders in ski equipment and design. I worked on the Alpine Design team with seven other designers. Collectively we were responsible for creating models and graphics for all skis and ski accessory lines. My role was to create graphic applications and color palettes for products and their accompanying packaging, specifically the ski pole and helmet lines.
